At the start of September 2020 children across the country were returning to school. School closures have been for substantially longer than the usual six weeks summer holiday due to the current corona virus pandemic.
During this time schools had offered support to both students and parents whilst also preparing the campus, both inside and out, for reopening. Student wellbeing and compliance to new government legislation on being covid 19 safe has been very much at the forefront in their preparations for re-opening. Wallbank Fencing have worked tirelessly to supply and install fencing at a large number of Northwest primary schools, universities and academies in a joint effort to help them meet these new guidelines and to ensure the security of children in their educational environments.
One style does not suit all! We have installed a great range of fencing from bright red and vivid blue railings (RAL5003 Blue and RAL3020 RED) at St Matthew's C.E Primary School in #Manchester to the twin wire mesh fencing erected at Fallibroome Academy in Macclesfield Cheshire. This twin wire mesh system conforms to BS 1722 14 for open mesh steel panel fences as standard. It offers protection from cutting through and climbing over.
During August we also installed some modern corten steel, laser cut fencing panels at St Georges Quay Luneside, Lancaster. The new student accommodation being constructed here is modern and stylish and it was a pleasure to be part of this exciting project.
Many more projects have been undertaken in the last few months and it would be impossible to list them all in a short blog, but there has been a great variety of installations on sites across the Northwest and even further afield, both big and small.
We do not know what the rest of 2020 will bring in regards to Covid 19. Another lockdown, who knows? Through almost all of 2020 our whole team have done their bit to keep going, offering help, advice and muscle to get projects completed. During this time our staff have followed advice from the Government and safety protocols on every individual site to keep themselves and their colleagues safe right the way through each project. We are immensely proud of every single one of them. "Safety is at the heart of every thing we do" and I for one am glad to say, our moto has, and will always be relevant here at Wallbank Fencing Ltd.
